Dialogues on Pod
 
Dialogues on Pod (DoP) is a Podcast Series published by The Society of Dialogical Aesthetics, where we discuss with distinguished scholars key questions concerning their lifework. These collaborative publications aim to enhance dialogue throughout the field of aesthetics.

Episode 1 – Yuriko Saito, Rhode Island School of Design

Yuriko Saito has been one of the pioneering everyday aestheticians since the early 2000s. Our dialogue focused on reaching out for the everyday with aesthetics, and the challenges that arise with this project. The interview took place at the EVA Network colloquium Aesthetic Ideas for the Everyday, organized by Elisabetta Di Stefano and Mateusz Salwa November 7-8, 2025.

​​Episode 2 – Rosa Fernández-Gómez, University of Málaga​

​Rosa Fernández-Gómez has lately been bridging Western and Indian aesthetics in a novel way. We had a dialogue about the challenges that this projects brings with itself, and what can be reached by exposing these two traditions to each other. The interview took place at the EVA Network colloquium “Aesthetic Ideas for the Everyday”, organized by Elisabetta Di Stefano and Mateusz Salwa in Warsaw, Poland, November 7-8, 2025.

Episode 3 – Joseph Tanke, University of Hawai’i at Mānoa

Joseph Tanke has been working on continental and post-continental philosophy with an interest in aesthetics and politics. His work has touched upon figures like Foucault, Ranciere and Deleuze. The dialogue took place in Budapest at the Institute for Advanced Study at the Central European University November 29, 2025. Tanke was visiting Budapest as an affiliated fellow at the CEU.
