SoDA Prize – 2026 – Rosa Fernández Gómez
The Society of Dialogical Aesthetics (SoDA) is proud to announce the establishment of a new prize, the SoDA Prize, which will be given to a contemporary aesthetician whose work is outstanding in expanding the field of aesthetics.
The 2026 prize goes to Rosa Fernández Gómez (University of Málaga), who has lately built dialogues between Western philosophy and Indian philosophy with her groundbreaking work. The Society congratulates Rosa Fernández Gómez for her distinguished pioneering work.
The prize of 2026 comes supported with a handsome design prize – a Ruutu vase – by Iittala, one of the leading design companies in Finland. Iittala is a pioneer of Finnish design, with roots in artisanal glassmaking. Founded as a glass factory in 1881, the brand has grown to celebrate generations of design, art, and culture – creating thoughtful, timeless objects made to be loved and used, day in and day out.
